Call Super, Or:la – Meine Nacht, Venue TBA, Liverpool, Friday 17th
Making his debut in Liverpool this weekend is Dekmantel‘s Call Super. The disco-house don will be spinning wax at Meine Nacht on Friday with none other than red-hot Hotflush signing and local talent, Or:la. As always with Meine Nacht, the venue remains a mystery up until the 11th hour so keep your peepers peeled if you’re heading down.
Sonny Fodera – Frequently Flying Tour, Underground, Liverpool, Saturday 18th
Sonny Fodera, who is one of house music’s most astronomically rising talents, heads down to Underground on Saturday as part of his Frequently Flying tour. Expect an all out house-venture as Australian Sonny explores the many different nooks and crannies of the genre, from deep and dark to melodic and uplifting.
Erol Alkan, Annabel Fraser – The Deaf Institute, Manchester, Friday 17th
Phantasy Sound head man Erol Alkan is set to tear it up in Manchester’s Deaf Institute this Friday. The legendary DJ will undoubtedly be blowing roofs off left, right, and centre, with his own inimitable take on techno and electro. Annabel Fraser, one of the underground scene’s rising stars, will be illustrating just why she’s grabbing so much attention at the moment as she also takes to the decks.
Dusky, Alan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Elliot, Mella Dee & more – Canal Mills, Leeds, Saturday 18th
If techno is your bag then Canal Mills have got you covered in Leeds this Saturday, with a whole host of techno’s current top names heading down to give the speakers a run for their money. Support comes from Matt Long and Grainger. There are hardly any tickets left so grab them FAST.
Maya Jane Coles and Friends – Printworks, London, Saturday 18th
The Printworks seems to be unstoppable right now. Saturday sees them bring the deep, techy sounds of Maya Jane Coles and her chums to the Big Smoke. There’s a waiting list for tickets on this, so keep your eyes on the prize as we’ve got it on good authority that the venue is somewhat spectacular. Fill it with Maya‘s choice selections behind the wheels and it is sure to go off.
