Boogaloo Bringing Simian Mobile Disco to Liverpool (Plus Win Tickets)

UK Electro-house pioneers Simian Mobile Disco are heading to Liverpool in March courtesy of Boogaloo. The Waveform Trasnmitter’s Ste Knight expects some Temporary Pleasure.

If you’ve been anywhere near dance music over the past 10 years then you will definitely know who Simian Mobile Disco.

2017 marks a decade since the London duo, consisting of James Ford and Jas Shaw, hit the ground running with their debut album, Attack Decay Sustain Release. The album was an electro-house masterpiece, and kick started a craze in the mid-to-late 00’s that saw house music take on a gritty, more heavily filtered approach to its sound.

The pair have released tracks on standout labels including Kitsuné and Wichita Records, as well as their own Delicacies imprint. Their most recent offering, Welcome to Sideways, was released to critical acclaim, and serves to illustrate perfectly why the pair have survived the electro-house popularity wave and came out of the other side guns still blazing.

March 24th sees the boys heading over to Liverpool’s Kitchen Street venue, courtesy of Boogaloo, for an intimate DJ set. Support comes to the decks courtesy of Abandon Silence‘s Andrew HillBoogaloo‘s Sunny Side Up, and Jonnie Judge.  Get your tickets here.
