ENRG Announce 5th Event With Scuba at Invisible Wind Factory

Promotion team ENRG announce the fifth installment in their event series, Thermal Energy, with Scuba and more. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight expects fire.

At the back end of 2016, ENRG hosted a series of successful parties that saw the Invisible Wind Factory transformed into a warehouse rave space featuring top acts such as DuskyBicepThe Black Madonna, and Floating Points.

All four events were named in line with their connection to some form of energy, and 6th May sees them bring the heat with the fifth installment in their event series; Thermal Energy.

With a great track record under their belts for a night still very much in its infancy, the creative minds behind the event, which promises a spectacle based around “the synchronicity between innovative lighting, technology and world-class DJs” have pulled out all the stops and are bringing none other than techno wunderkind Scuba to Liverpool.

With his sound traditionally grounded in bass music, Scuba takes the dubstep sensibilities and applies them to techno to wonderful effect. His productions are often thoughtful affairs, a theme that creeps into his DJ performances, but that certainly doesn’t detract from his ability to ‘go hard or go home’.

Scuba will be backed up by London boy, Fort Romeau, who takes traditional Chicago House tropes and applies them to a modern sound, ideal for a big room and a big system. ENRG resident Blehrin will be warming the crowd up with his own Chicago infused house style.

Tickets for ENRG 05: Thermal Energy go on sale tomorrow (Thursday 6th) at 9 am.
