Liverpool Disco Festival and Constellations Bringing Derrick Carter to Liverpool PLUS WIN TICKETS

LDF and Constellations are planning a pre-festival warm-up with none other than house legend Derrick Carter. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight has the details (and some tickets to give away!)

With only a month to wait before Liverpool Disco Festival celebrates 30 years of The Southport Weekender, it makes sense that a warm-up party should take place in the interim, to slake the thirst of those disco-heads who can’t possibly wait for the big weekend to arrive.

It also makes sense that house legend Derrick Carter should be at the helm, whetting the appetites of the disco crew and getting everyone in the mood for a weekend of outrageously glittery fun.

Carter really needs no introduction. He’s a fully-fledged veteran of the house scene, and his status as a master of his craft is truly deserved. His professional career has spanned in excess of three decades, with numerous high-profile releases under his belt, and his sound has travelled the globe with him many times over.

April 22nd will see Derrick heading down to Constellations for an extra-special extended set, in which he is sure to pull out a mind-blowing range of house and disco classics from the depths of his generously stocked crates. The LDF residents will also be in support, so expect Constellations to be on fire that night.

The Waveform Transmitter has teamed up with Constellations and LDF to offer one lucky reader the chance to go along to the event with a friend. Aren’t we kind?! To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets simply FOLLOW The Waveform Transmitter on Facebook, LIKE the post below, and tag someone you’d like to take along with you. Easy!
