Goldie, Hunee, and Crazy P Soundsystem Added to Baltic Weekender Headliners

Baltic Weekender is already shaping up to be a beast of a festival. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight welcomes the addition of Goldie, Hunee, and Crazy P Soundsystem to the roster.

Liverpool’s newest Festival, The Baltic Weekender, is set to take place in June, on the weekend of the 2nd-4th. With a raft of top artists already on the roster, one might be forgiven for thinking it couldn’t get any better. Well, you’d be wrong, because they’ve just added three killer artists to the bill.

Goldie doesn’t really need any introduction whatsoever. Probably one of, if not the, most famous dnb producers on the planet will be gracing the decks to give Liverpool the rinse out to end all rinse outs. If you’ve not seen Goldie before, then you’re in for a real treat, as the master of his craft will show you just how drum and bass is meant to be played. His appearance coincides nicely with the release of his new album, The Journey Man, which is due for general release on June 16th.

Hunee has also been added to the list, and will be spinning his versatile, cross-genre mix of house, disco, and techno. Forever ahead of the curve, Hunee is a true crate digger, and will often lead you down one musical path before suddenly whisking you off in a completely different direction.

Last, but by no means least, we have Crazy P Soundsystem added to the overflowing pot of amazing artists. The soulful dancefloor destroyers have carved a name for themselves as they bring a hybrid sound consisting of live instruments and vocals alongside turntablism and other electronic forms.

Tickets for The Baltic Weekender are close to selling out, so get your’s quick from Skiddle or RA.
