The Baron returns to the Williamson Tunnels this September for three hours of non-stop techno. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight has the latest.
When one hears the name Dave Clarke, it is impossible not to think of pulverising beats and basslines, be they with a techno or electro twist. Similarly, when one hears those immortal digits, 303, uttered, it is inevitable that Liverpool’s top underground club night will spring to mind.
Hot off the back of their summer party and with a One Tribe Festival stage take-over imminent, the 303 crew have announced that September 30th will see our much-loved purveyor of techno, Mr Clarke, gracing the decks at Williamson Tunnels for one of his infamous techno sets.
Expect full-on, no-holds-barred techno to come flying down the tunnel straight into your eagerly awaiting face, as Clarke schools the lot of us in how to techno properly. At the time of writing we are unsure as to which of the residents will be playing, but whether that be Stuart Hodson, Samuel Lamont, or Gemma Muir, we can all be sure that they will be smashing it too.
