Live Transmission: Steve Parry and Dave Seaman Selador Special, 303, Liverpool preview

303 are gearing up for their annual Halloween shindig with an extra special b2b set from Steve Parry and Dave Seaman. The Waveform Transmitter’s Paddy Hooley takes a moment to express his excitement about the event.

This weekend 303 heads back to it’s spiritual home, The Williamson Tunnels, for the next instalment of their impressive 2017 calendar, The Halloween Special!

The year so far has seen the likes of Surgeon, Andrew Weatherall, and James Zabiela grace the decks of the subterranean techno tunnel, creating electric overtones and asserting the Liverpool night’s reputation as one of the best atmospheres in the city. Saturday’s event shows no compromise, drawing Selador head honchos and honourable Liverpool legends, Steve Parry and Dave Seaman, for a back-to-back all-night-long showcase.

The dynamic duo have created a global musical imprint, releasing tracks from Victor Ruiz, Sasha Carassi and Reset Robot and hosting label nights at Spin (USA), Watergate (Berlin) and at Small’s (Barcelona) for Off Week.

The back-to-back showcase will be the eighth event of the year for 303 following on from September’s supplement; Dave Clarke. The Red Baron applied power, proceeding well constructed warm up sets from Kenny Muir and Stuart Hodson in a tantalising assault of electro and techno.

The standard of 303 events seems to increase logarithmically as they rapidly approach the quinquennial year of operations; Guy J and the annual New Years Eve extravaganza draw a close to the fourth year prior to some massive announcements for the next milestone.

Doors open from 9pm on Saturday! Get your tickets HERE.
