There has been a bit of a buzz of late, as Liverpool’s Fabric Quarter, located around the London Road area of the city centre, looks set to be the next fashionable area to inhabit. On such inhabitant is the quirky new venue, The Reeds, which is a brand new space with an intimate 150-person capacity. Perfect, then, for inviting some top underground artists down to DJ, then!
Cherry Mango kick off their series of club night events this Friday 16th March, with FYI Chris; the duo will be illustrating exactly why their sound is being snapped up by the Rhythm Section International imprint.
May 25th will see Cherry Mango hosting an evening with New York’s Tim Sweeney, who readers will undoubtedly recognise for his monumental Beats in Space radio show. A show that has seen a rake of high-profile artists making guest appearances, including such luminaries as Bicep, Hunee, and Jamie XX.
The event will see Sweeney bringing his well-travelled style to the quirky Reeds venue, a style that has previously seen him secure slots at Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson, to name a couple.
