Abandon Silence, one of Liverpool’s foremost dance music brands, celebrates its 8th Birthday this weekend, with Denis Sulta. The Waveform Transmitter’s Jack Threlfall awaits there anniversary celebrations with bated breath.

Abandon Silence has seen itself become a taste making behemoth over the past 8 years. From humble gatherings in The Magnet back in 2010 to parties of eye-watering magnitude in 2018, the creative team behind the Liverpool electronic music brand have overseen an evolution that has captured the imagination of ravers all over the country. The 8th birthday party series for Abandon Silence, curated by Andrew Hill, has already hosted two significant events this year, with house mainstay Move D and party raconteur Mella Dee taking the helm respectively.

The third event in the birthday programme welcomes the Glaswegian dance firebrand Denis Sulta to the Invisible Wind Factory on Liverpool’s dockside. His meteoric rise to one of electronic musics most sought after DJs has been a journey that has captivated dance music’s cultural consciousness. With Sulta’s label Sulta Selects becoming near ubiquitous, and his style epitomising a frenetic vision of modern rave, the Scottish icon has become an unstoppable force.

Denis Sulta will be joined by the Dutch selector Tom Trago and Abandon Silence founder Andrew Hill on 13th April. This inclusion further cements this particular event as one of the most sought after warehouse parties in Liverpool this year, with tickets having sold out months in advance.

With Sulta’s latest releases, Sulta Selects 3′, already amassing thousands of plays, and his inclusion in Pete Tong’s Essential Mix, the fanfare and anticipation for the Scottish DJ’s appearance in Liverpool has reached critical mass. A night of hedonism and reckless abandon await the baying crowds of Merseyside this weekend – prepare for a masterclass in pure house pleasure.

Tickets are sold out.
