Wanna go bang? Halcyon are bringing Bjarki to Liverpool on March 9th and you’re all invited. The Waveform Transmitter‘s Ste Knight has the details.

If you’re seeking some serious beats this weekend, then Liverpool’s Halcyon have the perfect tonic for you, as Saturday, March 9th, sees Icelandic techno peddler Bjarki heading to the city for his Liverpool debut.

The artist has courted plenty of critical acclaim since the release of his seminal I Wanna Go Bang record hit the stores thanks to Nina Kraviz‘ Трип imprint. It goes without saying that this guy knows what he’s doing in the studio, and his skills beyond there translate directly to the decks. Get ready for a blistering techno assault as the bbbbbb Records label co-founder.

The event will see him playing an intimate gig at the Invisible Wind Factory‘s basement location; Substation. The venue is perfect for techno, thanks to the dark surroundings and low ceiling, so be prepared to get a sweat on as Bjarki and co deliver music for the grown-ups. Support on the night will be provided by the equally hardcore FJNocturne and resident Mull. Pack the Deep Heat, your dancing muscles will thank you!
