Premiere: Paul Hawcroft – Every Time (Ian Dillon Remix)

Our latest exclusive premiere comes straight outta the Astir Records stable, as Ian Dillon remixes Paul Hawcroft’s Every Time. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight presents.

Paul Hawcroft joins Astir Recordings riding a wave of success. He signed the original version of Every Time way back last year and it featured in the compilation release Movements Vol 1. Since then, they’ve added heavyweight remixers in the shape of East Cafe and Ian Dillon to give an altogether different spin to the package.

Having previously seen releases on much-venerated imprints like Perfecto Black, Lost Language and Bonzai, Paul is certainly making a name for himself within the progressive sphere. Every Time is a track that certainly deserves the ‘anthem’ nomenclature; bright female vocals and a seriously eargasmic hook drive this original track home uncompromisingly.

For the first remix, East Cafe, who now balances his enviable studio talent with his new dad duties, turns in an emotive and luscious deep reversion for those early moments, while an in-form Ian Dillon fresh from appearing on Hernan Cattaneo mixes and his many radio shows creates a tougher groove for the dark, sweaty dancefloors.

You can pre-order the release now, over at Beatport and Traxsource. The EP is available for general release from April 29th. Keep your ears open!
