Event: Homobloc Reveals Line-Up for 2019 Festival and it Bangs

Manchester’s Homobloc Festival revealed their artist roster for 2019’s edition, last week. The Waveform Transmitter‘s Ste Knight takes a look at who is confirmed…

Homoelectric is probably one of the biggest inclusive party-starters in the country. Their events pop up in cities up and down the UK, so it makes sense that the next natural step for them would be to organise a festival.

Homobloc takes place on November 9th at Mayfield Depot in Manchester. This is somewhat of a dream venue for organisers, who will be packing 10,000 of us into the venue for a party like no other.

The festival, last week, revealed a raft of incredible names that will be populating the bill. With artists from the LGBTQI+ dance community, as well as the wider scene, and covering a wealth of genres from house to techno, there should be plenty here to whet the appetite of any electronic music fan.

You can check out the full line-up below, but to give you an idea, you will be enjoying sets from taste-makers like The Black Madonna and Hunee, with Erol Alkan and Ivan Smagghe performing an extra-special b2b set.

Jayda G will be bringing discofied goodness to your ears, and Manchester’s highly regarded Meat Free duo Blasha and Allatt lay down their their inimitable techno sound on the decks. Optimo will also be making an appearance, something this writer is personally very excited about.

Homobloc Festival takes place on November 9th at Machester’s Mayfield Depot. Grab your tickets here and, in the meantime, check out the full line-up, below.
