Daily News for Oncology Physicians

A daily news is an important source of information for people who want to stay informed about what is happening in the world. It often includes news about politics, the economy, and sports. It can also include opinions and editorials that offer different perspectives on current events. Daily news is available online and in print form.

ASCO Daily News is the official conference reporter of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). It provides high-quality, unbiased research summaries and oncology news to ASCO members and oncology health care providers. The newspaper is peer-reviewed and edited for sense and accuracy by physician Editorial Board members who recuse themselves in the event of a conflict of interest.

The newspaper traces its roots to the Illustrated Daily News, which was published in New York City in 1919. It was a popular tabloid that focused on political wrongdoing and social intrigue. It was an early user of the Associated Press wirephoto service and developed a large staff of photographers.

The paper’s circulation peaked in 1947 at 2.4 million daily copies. It was one of the largest newspapers in the United States, and it fought hard for readers with its sensational headlines. In the early 20th century, it competed with the even more sensational rival New York Post, and it struggled to keep up with the popularity of its tabloid rival.

Its newspaper headquarters in the art deco building at 220 East 42nd Street, designed by architects John Mead Howells and Raymond Hood, was a city and national landmark. The building straddled the railroad tracks going into Pennsylvania Station and was known as Manhattan West. The News later established WPIX-TV, which still occupies the former News Building, and it acquired what became WFAN radio, now owned by CBS.

In addition to daily news, the newspaper carries extensive city and entertainment coverage, celebrity gossip, classified ads, comics, and a section on sports. The newspaper’s online edition also features blogs and social media updates.
