What is Entertaiment?

A clown at a child’s birthday party, a Broadway show, stadium rock concert, your friends fighting over the last potato chip—entertaiment is all about amusement and enjoyment. From the French entretenement, the word has also been linked to hospitality: to entertain guests is to keep them happy.
