Entertaiment is the term used for activities that are conceived to entertain. The range is vast: entertainment can be a simple idea adapted for a single person; a meal prepared for two or more; a banquet arranged for a hundred or more; a performance aimed at thousands; or an event intended to bring a message of moral, political or religious importance. Many familiar forms of entertainment have evolved to suit the needs of different cultures, and a broad spectrum of emotions is expressed in them.
