Sankeys Manchester sadly closed its doors to clubbers this month, following the sale of their building to developers. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight has news on how you can bring Sankeys to your city.

Sankeys has launched its #DoYouWannaSankeys campaign in conjunction with, to bring Sankeys to various cities across the UK. With our nightlife under threat from local councils and developers, it is important that we stand together and support their cause.

In order to bring the legendary Sankeys to Liverpool, all you need to do is cast a vote over on their page.

Being just down the M62 from Manchester, we’re pretty sure that a lot of our readers will have enjoyed a night out or two at Sankeys during the time that it was open. Sadly, it has now closed its doors, and the brand is looking to expand beyond Manchester and into a city near you.
