Warehouse Project organisers have announced that the first weekend of the 12-week event calendar will be headlined by LCD Soundsystem, as the multi-genre band confirm their new album, American Dream. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight has the lowdown.
James Murphy, lead singer of critically acclaimed band, LCD Soundsystem, has confirmed that they will be releasing their new album, American Dream, on September 1st, 2017. The album will be their first in seven years, which will no doubt be very welcome news for fans of the band.
The release will be accompanied by a world tour, which is set to make a stop off in Manchester in September, to kick off the proceedings at the city’s Warehouse Project, with two very special dates that sees LCD return to Manchester for the first time since 2010.
Additional UK dates have also been announced for the tour, which include Glasgow’s Barrowland venue on September 19th and Alexandra Palace, London, on September 22nd.
