Event: COEO – Cherry Mango & Boogaloo – Meraki, Liverpool

Relative newcomers Cherry Mango join forces with Boogaloo to bring Munich-based duo COEO to Liverpool’s Meraki venue. The Waveform Transmitter‘s Ste Knight has the details.

House heads across the city will be letting out little yelps of delight as Cherry Mango and Boogaloo‘s joint event is bringing Munich house-meisters, COEO, to Meraki on October 5th. The duo consists of Florian Vietz & Andreas Höpfl, both of whom are based out of the South German city, and they have been turning many a head since they released their first EP back in 2012; Get Down, which dropped on the Globelle imprint.

Since then, COEO have amassed themselves quite the cult following, releasing on several well-known house labels, including Toy Tonics, Razor N’ Tape, and Let’s Play House, among others. Their appearance at Meraki comes slap bang in the middle of a European tour for the pair, so you can expect them to be well oiled after three previous gigs in Augsberg, Berlin, and Paris.

Cherry Mango have previously brought Tim Sweeney and FYI Chris to Liverpool, since they launched at the start of 2018. Boogaloo are a more established brand, who have seen the likes of Crazy P and Detroit Swindle grace their decks. You can grab your tickets for the event, right here.
